Principal's Message

Government Polytechnic Garur, Bageshwar was established by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Uttarakhand with the aim of promoting technical education among aspiring youths of rural and remote hilly regions. The objective is to contribute to the socio-economic development of the state and to initiate measures for curbing undue migration of local people from these areas to other parts of the state or country.

Since its inception, the institute has consistently strived to provide a conducive environment for students, enabling them to become intellectually capable, innovative, and entrepreneurial professionals in the technological arena. Government Polytechnic Garur emphasizes educational training that fosters social awareness and professional skill development. The institute is committed to pursuing global standards of excellence and aims to nurture holistic personality development in students—professionally, socially, and ethically.
